Gerald Brady
Gerald Brady is an independent, non-executive director and consultant in the regulated, international financial services industry. Mr. Brady has over 25 years experience of the funds industry, both as a director and full-time executive, and has held senior executive management positions in Bank of Bermuda, Capita Financial Group and Northern Trust. Mr. Brady has worked both abroad and in Ireland and is a past Council member of the Irish Funds Industry Association (IFIA) and former Executive Board member of Financial Services Ireland/Irish Business and Employers Confederation (FSI/IBEC). Mr. Brady has a First Class Honours degree in Economics and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ireland (FCA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Affonso Pastore
Affonso Pastore is LatinSource’s advisor for Brazil and is president and founder of A.C. Pastore & Associados, an economic consulting firm in São Paulo. He serves as an advisor for domestic and foreign banks, financial institutions, and multinational corporations. He served as president of the Central Bank of Brazil from 1983-1985. Prior to his appointment at the Central Bank, he served as secretary of Finance for the state of São Paulo from 1979-1983. He attended the University of São Paulo, where he received his Bachelor in Economics in 1961 and his Doctorate in Economics in 1969; he served there as director of Economics and titular professor from 1978 to the present, and continues teaching graduate courses in “Open Economy Macroeconomics”, “Money and Banking” and “Econometrics”. He has written numerous articles published in major journals, focusing primarily on monetary policy, stabilization policies, central banking, and international monetary problems.
Saeb Elzein
Saeb Elzein was previously responsible for sourcing and managing special situations and credit investments for the Spinnaker Capital funds in the Middle East, and now works as an advisor to the funds. Prior to joining Spinnaker, Saeb was a managing director at Credit Suisse (CS) in the Investment Banking division, based in London and Dubai where he was responsible for the Capital Markets, financing coverage in the Middle East region, and led CS’s EEMEA debt Capital Markets. Between 1994 and 2002 Saeb led CS’s investment banking and fixed income coverage for the Middle East and North Africa. Before joining CS, he was head of Southern Europe and Middle East Fixed Income at Deutsche Bank AG in London. Prior to that he worked at Arab International Finance in London as a multi asset portfolio manager, and at the Central Bank of Lebanon as a financial analyst in the Governor’s Office. He holds a degree in Business Administration and an MBA from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon.
